When you go to a sports event, do you try to figure out the promoter's gross revenue? ( 5 if you do, 1 if you don't) 3. When things take a serious turn for the worse, is your first impulse to look for somene to blame, or is it to look for alternatives (5 if you look for alternatives, 1 if you look for someone to blame) 4. Using your friends or coworkers as a barometer, how do you rate your energy level? (5 high, 1 low) 5. Do you daydream about business opportunities when commuting to work, flying airplanes, waiting at the dr. office, etc? (5 if yes, 1 if not) 6. Do you worry to much about change, or do you look forward to it? (5 if you look forward, 1 if you are afraid of change) 7. Are you happiest when you are busy or when you have nothing to do? (5 when busy, 1 when nothing to do) 8. Do you like to be in charge, in control, at the center of attention? (5 if you really crave control, 1 if you detest it) 9. How creative are you? (5 if extremely creative, 1 if not at all) 10. How good are you at achieveing or keeping your New Year's resolution (5 always do, 1 never do) 11. Are you a Leader or Follower (5 leader, 1 follower) 12. Do you have to balance your checkbook to the penny or is "close" good enough? (5 if close is good enough, 1 to the penny) 13. How comfortable are you with borrowing money for investment, such as buying a home? (5 very comfortable, 1 not at all) 14. When you fail at a project or task, does it scar you forever or does inspire you to do better? (5 if it inspires you, 1 if it scars you) 15. When you believe in something, with passion; can you sell it? (5 always, 1 never) Now, add up the score for each question and compare with the ranges below. RESULTS: 55-75: Go for it. You have what it takes to suceed! 36-54: You probably have what it takes to successfully run your own business, but take some time to look back over the questions you scored the lowest on and see wheter you can discern any trends. 16-35: You probably need help from a coach, mentor and perhaps a strong team to cover some of your weaknesses, but don't be discorage you can learn what it takes to be a successful business owner. 0-15: The test is no scientific, so it can be wrong, but perhaps you need to really think if you want to become an entrepreneur.
